i just realised that i've been trying to be focusing on God too much during this mission trip, no wonder i didnt even missed anyone back in S'pore X: right, till today when i touched down, dharmen went, '' CHERYL, DID YOU MISS ME? '' hah (: i shall try to summarize what about the happenings during this mission trip. (:

thanks God for arranging a roommate for me, well, thanks for answering my small prayer request. tata, i had Wanyi as my roommate (: but i slept most of the nights with her and Rebecca. it turned out to be 3 people in a room, back in Nong Khai.

oh yeah, after we reached the Thailand airport, we traveled an approx 10-12 hrs of coach journey to Nong Khai, which was at the northern part ot Thailand. hah, it was coldddd, esp in the morning and night.

during the first few days, my team went to schools to reach out to all the '' nong nong-s. '' they were all lively and friendly. i had a great time to share with some of them, and what's the best was, we see salvations among them (:

street evangelism was something more new to me. perhaps i didnt really walked around at the streets to approach some strangers to share Christ with last year. but we did that this year, before every night rally. it started off to be a little scary at first, cos there wasn't much translators around us afterall. but we still continued to share using our limited Thai words which we know. and guess what? Holy Spirit guided us along as we speak to them in Thai, and when we asked them '' Kao Jai Mai (understand), '' they would normally reply '' Kao Jai (: '' YAY! i love to see people being able to understand me. else, i would be like a fool speaking rubbish. but thanks to God, for his help to break this communication barrier between us and the Thai people. and YES, people came to Christ cos we shared to them :D

i love night rally (: we would first break up into smaller teams to invite the villages to come to the night rally. this phrase shall not be forgotten:

Tee nee, mee gan sedang.
Tee sala klang ban, neng toom.

hah, it's means something like there would be a programme going on the the center of your village at 7pm. yeps. during night rally, the programmes are almost alike to what we planned for the schools which we go, but we did prayed for healings for those villagers who weren't feeling well.

i remembered that there was this lady who had headache or some other pain which needs her to eat 23 pills a day, and she has been eating for 2 years already. but after praying for her, she was healed (: praises goes to God!!! 23 pills a day is no joke alright. and there was this lady who has pain at the right side of her whole body, from the top to the bottom. so Ade reminded me to pray specifically to God, and i did. every single area of pain in her, i prayed one by one (: so after 1 prayer, she immediately got healed. at first, she couldn't raise up her right hand all the way, but after praying, she could do that! :D i could feel that she was amazed and overjoyed over the matter, hah. well, God receives all the thanks and glory. he's so amazing!

i seriously enjoyed every mission trip which i went. thanks Ade for the prayer. i realised that i've came out of my comfort zone, to step out and have the courage to share with strangers and also in another language which i learned within 2 weeks. well, also including the ones last year (?)

there are so many challenges in my life, and i've got to face it one by one, day by day. i'm so thankful to God for using me mightily during this trip, in every area, even in things which i'm weak in :D right now, i see that there are so limited of time to reach out to the whole world. come on...

i miss the weather in Nong Khai now, the cooling weather, hah. but now, i'm in s'poreeeee, hot weather uh. haha. (but it just rained, hah!) i love everyone in Godchasers and in the kingdom of God!

there's really a difference between last year and this year mission trip. hah. yay, i've been more prayerful now (: goodbye people. Phra Zhao rakoon mak mak!
